Kent Marine Iodide provides iodide to reef inhabitants. Although present in salt mixes, iodide is rapidly used up in the system, and removed through protein skimming, ozone and filtration. Kent Marine Iodide replaces iodide needed for proper growth and health of invertebrates and micro-algae. Contains a safe form of iodide which will not destroy system bacteria.
