Gets used every day

Out cats seem to like the cardboard scratchers the best and this one is a good size.
Pros
- Good price. Easy to replace the scratching surface when it gets too worn.
Cons
- Using any cardboard scratchers results in cardboard bits on the floor that needs to vacuumed or swept every couple of days.

this is probably my tenth purchase of the cosmic alpine climb incline cat scratcher over many years. i've had many cats, and they have all loved it--every one. you can use both sides of the insert. rub a little of the old nip on the incline for those who enjoy it, and they will scratch daily until you have to order new inserts. this is the best scratcher available at any price. currently we've got three cats and three alpine scratchers.

My cats have had a Cosmic Alpine scratcher for years and it was looking so ratty. Since I bought the new (actually i bought two) scratcher, my three cats are happier than ever. This gets a lot of work out during the day and holds up wonderfully.

Great item!!!! My cats really like this item, although when it first arrived they literally took apart the incline and thought it was an intruder!!! They are soooo funny!!! I put the scratcher back together and used duck tape to re-inforce the incline, needless to say they were still able to pull this apart and play with the torn off cardboard. I bought two, and the other one is still holding up, and a few of my fur babies have started scratching on them. Great item though, I think I really have "tigers" not cats but will purchase a few more in the future because my "laid back" kitties like it and love to scrath on the incline.

- nothing, but stronger cats want to destroy this item and chew the cardboard.

this keeps the cats entertain for hours at a time.
like to take them apart and in enough time destroy it.
