API pH Test Kit

I bought this at petsmart and was really disapointed! I had checked the ph with the standard strips and all my tanks were fine 7.2 ph. after using this product all the tanks were off the scale on the high side? The instructions say to use three drops which I did, then I decided to use one third of water and one drop of the test solution to make it last longer, same results? I checked again with the strips and all tanks were fine. I just wish I had not bought the product and stayed with the strips. Hope I can save someone else the trouble i went through.
