Too early to tell
July 17, 2012
It's too early to tell yet if these really work. The good thing is that my dog likes them unlike the wafers that she will not touch no matter what I do to them.
Pros
  • My dog likes them
Cons
  • a little costly - however if they work, they will be worth every cent.

We have been using this product for over a year and it helps prevent grass yellow spots in the lawn. You will not see an immediate fix, your dogs system has to adjust to the product. We saw results in about 6-8 weeks. You cannot stop the treatment or the spots will return.

GrassSaver Biscuits
October 6, 2011
We have a female Australian Shepherd, and have tried a variety products to protect our lawn from having dead spots from urine burns. While they all seem to work - some better than others - this is the only one she considers a treat. As soon as she smells it, she comes & waits for me to put her dish on the floor. (And this is a dog who will often wait to eat breakfast at lunch, if she doesn't happen to be hungry. I've also found the tablets from other brands left in the dish after she eats...) She enjoys it & it works, so this is the brand I'll buy from now on.
I originally found them at PetSmart, but wasn't happy with the price. So I looked online, & PetGuys.com popped up. I'd never heard of them, but they had the best price/shipping rate, so I placed an order. It arrived quickly & was packaged well.
Pros
  • My dog loves it
  • It works ~ our lawn looks great

Great product

I give it to my black lab...so it turns out to be 2-3 treats per day, since she is 76 pounds. See my likes and dislikes below.
Pros
  • Seems to do the job relatively well. It is cost efficient, although not 100%...you need to keep up and do not forget to give them, or lawn burning could occur.
Cons
  • The smell of the treats is a little funky. May turn off some homeowners. However, the benefit is worth it.

works for me

I have a pair of pugs, and while I have an occasional yellow spot on the grass, there are far fewer than you would expect with two dogs and relatively small grassy area. Both dogs can barely wait for their "cookie" in the morning.
