Love this Carrier

Have had Sherpa bags for last 10 years for my cats. My cats are each 10 pounds and the small carrier just purchased was a little smaller than I'd like, so I exchanged it for the medium size.... I think the sizing is different than 10 years ago when I purchased other Sherpa carriers. I love the ease of handling and I love the bottom board with artificial sheepskin so that when we go to the vets I just open the front door and pull the whole board out and it slide right out with the cat on it, so no need to reach inside and grab them. The downside is, if you have a cat that is uncomfortable in a carrier, they can easily scratch at the mesh/fabric of the carrier. That being said, when I leave my carriers open in a room, the cats often will go lay in them so they obviously like them too, even when they are not being taken anywhere.

- Ease of handling/options of way to carry/over the shoulder or carry in hand
- Slide board on bottom of carrier makes it easy to pull animal out of carrier
Cons
- Durability? Fabric carrier and mesh will not stand up to a cat that bites/scratches at it

We've borrowed this bag from neighbors in the past, and I finally decided it was time to get ourselves equipped in case of veterinary emergency (or kitty vacation travel?). Much nicer than other, similar products I've tried.

- These are pricey, but the petguys price is excellent.
