I was going to use it as a pointer, but I found out it is not pointing straight. The light is bright enough to use as a pet toy. I am giving it a 5 star for what it was made for, as a pet toy.

These laser toys provide endless amusement - and cost 3 or more times as much at retail stores. You can afford to buy a half dozen and lose a few at this price!

No frills and works well! Not much to say, one of my cat is dumb enough to play with the dot so it's great.

Much better than early models from 4 or 5 years ago when the lasers were not as bright and the switch was much harder to activate. You don't have to have the strength of a gorilla to activate the laser like those that were first on the market. Original models also had a much shorter battery life.
