As aquatic turtles mature, their diet changes as plant material makes up a larger part of their diet. For this reason, hatchlings and juveniles require their own special diet. Zoo Med Hatchling Aquatic Turtle Food is formulated to meet the dietary requirements of hatchling and juvenile aquatic turtles. Most aquatic turtles prefer to feed at the water's surface, like Red Ear Sliders, Painted Turtles and Map Turtles. The pellets initially float, making it easier for them to locate their food. Pellets will eventually sink, providing food for bottom feeding turtles like Mud and Musk turtles. For turtles up to 2"; 1/16" size pellets. Shipping weight: 1/6 lb.
