Zilla Shed-Ease facilitates shedding and promotes the emergence of healthy skin in reptiles. In order to grow, reptiles slough off old skin in the process of "shedding". Natural imbalances (e.g., stress, poor health, improper diet, lack of humidity) can prevent a reptile from shedding properly. Made in USA.

Features:

  • Penetrating bath for all shedding reptiles
  • Promotes emergence of healthy skin
  • Consists of a rich formula of Aloe Vera and other emollients
  • Ideal for all types of lizards and snakes including:
    - Iguanas, Bearded Dragons, Geckos, Chameleons, Water Dragons, Tegus, Monitors, Skinks
    - Boas, Pythons, Corn Snakes, Milk Snakes, King Snakes

Ingredients:
Deionized Water, Aloe Vera, Salt, Glycerol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate.

Directions:
Add 10 ml of Shed-Ease to 16 ounces of lukewarm water. Soak reptile for 20 minutes to allow emollients to penetrate skin. Old skin should slip off easily. If any old skin remains, gently rub to remove. Do not attempt to pull dry skin off of reptiles. Never leave soaking reptiles unattended. For reptiles naturally found in high-humidity environments, soak for 10 minutes, once a week.

My Uromastyx is 12 yrs. for the last several of them he has had difficulty shedding. He had an episode where his tail cracked. I had taken him to the vet. they said to give him a lot of soaks, he doesn't like water you can say he hates it! I can truthfully say this helped save his life. I'm so glad I found this.
