Sentry Petromalt is the original hairball remedy for cats. It helps eliminate and prevents hairballs with regular use. Just feed an one-inch ribbon of it daily until symptoms disappear.
Active Ingredients:
| Mineral Oil | 10.8% |
| Petrolatum | 32.8% |
Inactive Ingredients:
Acacia Gum, Acidified Calcium Sulfate, Barley Malt Syrup, Caramel, Glycerin, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Thiamine HCI, Water.
Directions for Use: To eliminate hairballs - Give orally a strip of 1.25 cm (1/2 inch) per 2 kg (4.4 lbs) of body weight, once daily for 3-4 days. To prevent hairballs - Give orally a strip of 1.25 cm (1/2 inch) per 2 kg (4.4 lbs) of body weight, 1 to 2 times per week. Brush coat frequently.

This is the best among this type of product ) because:
(1) my cat actually likes it and will lick it off my finger
(2) other products are too runny, and just fall off your finger before the cat decides to taste it
(3) it has solved the problem; my long-haired Wuzzie no longer suffers from hairball "issues."
NOTE: please make sure (thru vet check-up) that your vomiting cat does not suffer from a more serious problem!

the original formula that my kitty, Minnow, loves! i can't find the BIG tubes in any store nearby! i tried the "new and improved" formula but she did't like it so i am so happy the original is still available!
Pros
- if Minnow doesn't feel like eating it, i rub it on the front of her paws. it is a great consistency to do so, unlike the new formula. i will stick with the original!

- unavailable in local stores, but really, it is great to have service to my door!

I am new to cats and had never heard of hair balls until my cat started vomiting almost daily. Gave him some of this paste and the vomiting has quit entirely as long as I give him a little dose every 2-3 days. I was shocked that it worked so well and is so reasonably priced. I have not noticed side effects of any sort and he loves the taste. I have been careful not to leave the tube lying around where he might bite into it since he really seems to like it so much.

We give this to our cat with her meal on the lip of the dish. She always eats this first!

My cat needing to use hairball remedy absolutely refused the product when the formula changed to using corn syrup. The product purchased from your company has the mineral oil and barley malt this cat demands. He’s back to licking the hairball remedy straight out of the tube. Thank you.

What happened to Petromalt?

My cats need this product, but I don't know what has been added or changed to make it so sticky and runny. Seems to do to the job but it's annoying when you are used to the way it was before.
