I have used this product for years on my American Eskimo Dogs which are notorious for dirty/plaque build-up on their teeth. I still brush their teeth, but the plaque does not build up as much and their breath is very nice, also.

I have used Petrodex on my two dogs since they were about nine months old, now four. The vet is always amazed at how clean their teeth remain. He thought it was good genetics and diet, I told him it was Petrodex! When I have stopped using the product, you can see the plaque start to build on their teeth. After two weeks, the plaque is gone again. Just a few quick sprays in their mouths daily and the difference is amazing!

- Quick and easy to apply, just spray. No brushing necessary to maintain good dental health.
Cons
- Wish it came in larger bottles.

I haven't really been using this long enough to write an informative review, but I'll give it a shot. We have an established tooth-brushing routine to battle my cat's life-long tooth and gum problems, and I have now added this spray to the protocol. Kitty doesn't appreciate the spray, no matter how gently it comes out, but then she hates anyone messing with her mouth. Her breath isn't as bad after a week of use, but other than that, it's simply too early to tell if it has helped. But I have high hopes.
Pros
- Light, refreshing scent. Small bottle easy to hold.
Cons
- Spray action scares cat.
