I bought this product for my hamster as it was recommended. Syd just peed in it. Did not meet my satisfaction.

Very fine, light, beach-like sand in portioned out pouches. Depending on the size of container you use for your hamster, you may need to open more then 1 package. There's maybe 1/4th cup in each pouch. But so far living the product. Would buy again.

Much better than dust

Bath sand is much healthier than bath dust because you and your chinchillas won't breathe it in, and it cleans the chinnies just as well as bath dust.
