Great treat for small fish
April 13, 2020
Sometimes my fish beg me for food even after they have been fed for the day, so I wanted a small healthy high-protein treat for my tiny predators. Rasboras and Bettas love this treat! As a bonus the daphnia are very small and the food has an almost powder-like consistency, so I can give a very small amount of treat and avoid overfeeding and fouling the water. They may be too small for larger fish to show interest, however.

Fish love it yum!

Some pieces are adamant floaters and some will sink making it a perfect treat for all level dwellers. The cap has a little hole with a tab that you slide to open and close, which seems to pour out a decent serving easily. I have bettas, cherry barbs, neon tetras, rummy nose tetras, and pearl Danios in between two tanks; they all go bonkers when they see me holding the green capped container.
Pros
  • Fish love it, easy pouring, slide-lock cap, some pieces float and others sink so all level dwellers can enjoy
Cons
  • Can be messy sticking to all edges (what food isn't messy though lol)
