My 5 Cockatiels, my Hen, our male, and their 3 babies lived to 22 years and we think 25 years and the Children lived to 23 years, 22 years and I have one left name Rocket. She has happy eyes. And, they ate Lafeber's Avi Cakes and egg noodles, and a little corn all of their lives. My Vet was wrong about Avi Cakes because the had Molasses in them he said. I still fed them and they had long happy lives. 23,22, 25 and one still going at 23 I think that their diet and lots of love and Lafeber's Avi Cakes are the best and all their products are the greatest and Made in America too. Great Product. I will lose Rocket probably soon they only have so many heart beats like humans. She is 23 and I hope to have her for a lot longer. Great Products. Thanks for listening.

Started buying the Lafeber's Avi-Cakes 3 years ago shortly after getting the Conure. When Pet Food Exrpess stopped selling this I looked online. This last batch had a great discount that beat out the other online retailers. I also like buying from The Pet Guys since they are in Oakland near where I live and the shipments arrive quickly.

Our two parrots have been feasting on Avi-Cakes for nearly 25 years. They are used as treats only, not for full nutritional value. Both the Senegal and Conure are 30 and 31 years old and have been in our care since they were hand fed babies at 9 weeks. Avi-Cakes are small enough that they can hold them in their feet without dropping them. We have tried the larger cakes, but found the birds prefer the smaller variety.

The birds get these every day in addition to pellets and chopped veg. it takes just a few minutes for the cakes to disappear when I feed them. if parakeets could talk I think they’d say “Please sir, may I have some more?”

My birds love a variety of the Lafeber products. My Sun Conures are always excited when they get their Avi-Cake treats! My conures prefer the small avi cakes rather than the larger Parrot size. I highly recommend this product.
