Dog Mate Dog Door is a neatly designed door suitable for medium dogs up to 18" shoulder height. The transparent, silent action flap is preferred by most pets and magnetic closure keeps flap shut in strong winds. Also includes a removable locking panel manufactured from high impact strength polypropylene. Overall size: 13 3/4" x 11 3/8". Cut out size: 11 3/4" x 9 1/2". Opening size: 10 1/2" x 8 3/4".

Difficult to install

Pro-This door is just the right size for my dachshund and elderly chihuahua. It can be mounted nicely at the bottom of the door.Cons--Very difficult and fussy for a nooby to install. You're gonna need a handyman.-The magnet on the door cannot be removed to make training to use the door easier. I should have got the Chubby Cat model door.

Great value for a good product

This door was easy to install and is very sturdy. The door locks work well. And the appearance of the door is very nice. I also want to say that the customer service is great; I made a mistake on my billing address and they helped me quickly and professionally.

This is our second Dog Mate Medium Dog Door. The weather can be brutal here sometimes. Evenwhen the wind blows, the door doesn't fly open. It does a pretty good job of keeping the cold airout. Our 9 yr old sheltie/daschund mix comes and goeswhen he pleases. Even the cat uses it. We love it!And...It is definitly doggie approved!
