Excellent quality heater, long lasting

I have had 2 of these heating my aquarium for about 9 years now, without fail. It takes less time to get the initial temperature setting right than I have experienced with other heaters. We have several large fish that tend to collide with the heater every once in a while and they have held up well.

Fluval M300 Heater
July 13, 2020
Been using the Fluval M200 and 300 heaters for years with out any problems, like with some others I tried. I like the mirror look instead of the black tube . Have two M300s on my 125 a on my second M200 on my 60 Oscar tank that been running for ten years.

I have not had a chance to use the heater yet, but I'm sure that it will work fine with no problems. Pet Guys were a great find online. What the pet stores near me don't have, the Pet Guys do and they get it to me quickly and in perfect condition.

Submersible Aquarium Heater Not Submersible
January 11, 2012
Inappropriate for a turtle tank. Labeling was misleading. Had to return both heaters.
Cons
  • Clearly labeled "submersible", but can"t figure out why it was definitely NOT--I have never seen that designation on a heater that wasn't fully "submergible."
