Not practical for my needs

Ended up not using the product when they said that it should be cleaned/replaced after 7 days. The Fluval FX5 is an effective filter, but the opening and closing of the pump is a risk every time. As a matter of fact my pump was damaged when I cleaned it this time. While am sure an additional "sparkle" could be acheived, I'm just not sure the risk is worth it every 7 days.
