Zoo Med Turtle Dock is a unique floating dock that allows aquatic turtles a dry basking area for maximum exposure to heat and UVB lamps. The unique self leveling feature automatically adjusts to all water levels. The submerged ramp allows turtles easy access to dry area. Can also be used for aquatic newts, frogs or mudskippers. Dock size: 9" x 18" for tanks 40 gallons and up. Shipping weight: 4 3/4 lbs.

nice size float

These floats are big enough that my 10 year old Red Eared Sliders can fit on them. I zip tie 4 of them together, 2 on top side by side and 2 underneath side by side to give them extra buoyancy. eventually the floats on the bottom will become waterlogged and need to be replaced. I just let them float around the tank rather than use the suction cups and bracket to hold them on the side.

I think that the turtle doc is pretty good.

Zoo Med Large Turtle Dock

I've used this dock for years for my turtle aquariums. Can be used with zip ties as well. Has a varied surface which is good as water will not pool. Turtles need to be able to completely dry off their entire shell, including the bottom which can not be done on a flat surface.

- Gets moldy.

Too expensive, too delicate for large turtles, too often needing to be replaced due to breaking, and will be eatten by turtles at certain times of the year when there appetites are at their peak - but....I keep on buying them because I don't have a better option.
