Cat Mate Automatic Cat Feeder is designed to feed your pet at its normal meal times when you are away. Dry cat food is kept fresh in five easy-to-clean compartments revealed by a rotating lid and refrigerated by twin icepacks. Note that it will only keep canned food fresh for only one to two days due to the melting of the ice-packs. Just set the battery operated timer to the required mealtimes, up to 96 hours later. Minimum time between feedings is 4 hours. The required 'AA'-size battery is not included. Shipping weight: 5 lbs

Super Convenient. Takes Stress Away From Your Day!

Works great. Nifty. I use it everyday and fill it back up again every few days. The company that makes it I believe is the only one who allows for ice packs to keep the food cold. Only con, is that the ice packs that come with it need to be constructed so they will keep the food cold around 5 days rather than a couple days. Awesome product invention other than that. Pet Guys have great prices, too. Pros:

This product allowed me to leave my cat home for several days and it worked perfectly. Marmalade had no reservations regarding eating from the unit and it's easy to use and clean.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I have been looking for a way to make sure my cat is fed when I go away on weekends and this fits the bill! I set two of the timers to go off each day and my cat is happy and well fed. The price was a little steep, but it saves me from paying someone else to check on the kitty. Pros:

I found it odd that the feeder just stops when it gets to the last opening. It took me a few minutes to figure out that you kind of have to wind it up before use. But once I figured it out, it's cool.I would recommend this item to a friend.
