Boss Pet's (formerly known as Prestige) Medium Dog Tie-Out is made of heavy-duty galvanized cable with strong snaps attached on both ends. For dogs up to 35 lbs, can be used to attach dog to overhead trolley, attach to screw eye or stake, or clip cable to itself around tree (recommended for temporary use only, due to excessive wear to cable coating). Remember, not all pets can be tethered effectively. Owner supervision and judgment are required.

  • Keeps your pet tethered, while durable clasps keep them safe and sound
  • Made of vinyl-coated, galvanized steel aircraft cable
  • Patented swivel points reduce tangling
  • Designed with durability for outdoor use
  • 40 feet cable for dogs up to 35 lbs.

Great quality and light enough for an 8 lb dog. Highly recommended.
ProsQuality cable and hardware. Strong. We'll made. Light for small dogs. Strong enough for larger dogs. Competitive price. Good value.

Prestige Medium dog Tie-out 40 ft.
May 17, 2014
Almost exactly what I wanted that I cannot find in any of the local pet supplies store.
ProsGreat length and like the flexibility.
ConsI only wish that the clips on the ends were a bit bigger and had a smoother action on the slide. That would make them easier to use, especially for older, arthritic hands.

Prestige Medium Dog Tie Out
November 26, 2012
We need a tie out to give our dog freedom of the yard. The 40 foot lenght and weight are right for the dog. I'd use a poly rope, except he would chew through it.
ProsIt iKeeps him from running off.
ConsEventually the cable fatigues and breaks when the covering is damaged
