The Dog Twister Interactive Game Toy has been designed by Nina Ottosson as a game you and your dog can play together. The idea behind the Dog Twister is for your dog to dislodge the removable bone, then slide the top covers to access the treats hidden inside. You may choose to put treats in one, several or all the compartments, depending on your dog's experience and enthusiasm for the game. With a little practice, he will soon learn to dislodge the bone and slide the cover to access the hidden rewards. By gradually reducing the number of treats, you can encourage him to work harder for rewards. To ensure safety, the durable plastic has no sharp edges, is non-toxic and dishwasher safe. Fun for me and my dog!

I bought this game at the same time I bought the Dog Brick Interactive Game. My dog loves the brick game (which appears a bit easier to learn) but is also starting to get the hang of this twister game. It definitely takes some thought and is great on a rainy day when my dog is bored. It is a lot of fun to watch her learn and become more confident. The video's that come with the game are a must as they show you how to introduce the game to your dog in a easy and fun way.Pros:

I is fun watching my dogs try to get the treats from each compartment. We haven't gone to the next level yet but it should be interesting. This toy really helps older dogs keep their mind active & great fun for the younger dogs as well. The price is great as well from this site.I would recommend this item to a friend.

We purchased both this and the "tornado". The Tornado is easier and as it turns out is a great start to get the "game" down. We have not yet put the bones in the twister but will soon. Actually the "bones" in the Tornado will help greatly in getting the idea across on how to remove the bones in the twister. Pros:
great fun for all of us. Chewey, our lab, can't wait for the games to start which we do almost every night. We use pop corn as the treat as it is low in calories and loved by the dog.Cons:
this is not a "dislike" but more of a suggestion. The other game we have, the Tornado, also has bones. In that game there are holes in the "bones" and after our dog had problems removing the bone from the game without destroying it, I put a small string in the hole and it makes it easy for her to remove it from the game.I would recommend this item to a friend.
Easier than Casino

Love Nina's puzzles. We have four of them and my 4 yo labradoodle loves all. This one is not as challenging as casino but harder than tornado if you're deciding of which of the toys to purchase. My dog still needs to play with only few of the bones placed on the board. He gets so excited when he sees that I'm setting it upPros:

Our dog figured out the first part of the puzzle in about an hour. Now it takes him less than a minute to open all the sections. He gets very excited when he sees me bring it out. We will introduce the "bones" part gradually. I think this will be more of a challenge for him, but he does love this toy!Pros:
It's well made, we have a chow mix who can rip apart almost anything, so it takes the "pawing and mouthing" he gives it. He's actually having to think to solve the puzzle.Cons:
So far, nothing. We'll see how he does when the bones are introduced. I think after he learns this part, I'll have to watch so the bones aren't chewed up.I would recommend this item to a friend.
