
I think I bought a baby Angelfish with fin rot (its dorsal fin never looked right and didn't heal once I put it in my tank like my others have) but it didn't effect my other two Angels for a while, so I wasn't worried about it. It took at least 2 months for my oldest/largest Angel to get the fin rot, this is when I began to worry, and the other was unaffected the whole time. Less than 24 hours after the first dose I could see healing on my oldest/largest Angel. I also have 2 crayfish in my tank, and they are still alive. Many medications like this would kill crustaceans.
