Fungus Cure Anti-Fungal Fish Medication effectively treats fungus (Saprolegnia spp. & Achlya spp.), mouth fungus (Cotton Mouth Disease), Body Slime & Eye cloud and Fin & Tail Rot infections. Quickly controls contagious fungus and secondary bacterial infections. Helps prevent the growth of fungus on fish eggs prior to hatching. For use in freshwater aquariums. Contains 10 powder packets. Use 1 packet per 10 gallons of water. Shipping weight: 1/6 lb.
3 mg Victoria Green B and 30 mg Acriflavine per packet.
Directions for use: For best results, remove activated carbon or filter cartridge from filter and continue aeration. For each 10 gallons (38L) of water, empty one packet directly into aquarium. Repeat dose after 48 hours. Wait another 48 hours then change 25% of the aquarium water and add fresh activated carbon or replace filter cartridge. Note: This medication will cause a slight discoloration of water which can be removed with activated carbon or API Bio-Chem Zorb. This package treats up to 100 gallons. Two doses required for full course of treatment.

I think I bought a baby Angelfish with fin rot (its dorsal fin never looked right and didn't heal once I put it in my tank like my others have) but it didn't effect my other two Angels for a while, so I wasn't worried about it. It took at least 2 months for my oldest/largest Angel to get the fin rot, this is when I began to worry, and the other was unaffected the whole time. Less than 24 hours after the first dose I could see healing on my oldest/largest Angel. I also have 2 crayfish in my tank, and they are still alive. Many medications like this would kill crustaceans.Pros:
Makes the water green, but it looks neat.Very easy instructions.
Works quickly and very well.
Does not kill crustaceans.
Waiting 48 hours between doses and cleaning means you can go about your day and not have to babysit your tank.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
