Pond Care Melafix is an antibacterial remedy for the treatment of koi and goldfish diseases including eye cloud, mouth fungus and fin & tail rot. All-natural antibacterial remedy rapidly repairs damaged fins, ulcers and open wounds. Use Pond Care Melafix when adding new fish to the pond. Safe for snails and other invertebrates. Will not harm aquatic plants, affect the pH or adversely affect the biological filter. Use with all-natural PondCare Pimafix to treat a wide range of fungal and bacterial infections. Directions for use: Remove activated carbon and turn off UV and ozone-producing units during treatment. For recent wounds, fin damage or infection: Add 1 teaspoon (5 ml) for every 50 gallons or 1/4 cup (60 ml) for every 600 gallons of pond water. When treating an advanced or chronic infection: Add 2 teaspoons (10 ml) for every 50 gallons or 1/4 cup (60 ml) for every 300 gallons of pond water.
