Marineland Penguin 200 BIO-Wheel Power Filter

Marineland Penguin BIO-Wheel Power Filters deliver easy, three-stage mechanical, chemical and biological aquarium filtration. It features noise-reducing two-piece vented covers and adjustable mid-level intake strainers. No pumps, valves or tubing required. Includes a free filter cartridge. It silently filters 200 GPH for freshwater or marine aquariums up to 50 gallons.

3-Stage Filtration Features:

• Stage 1: Mechanical Filtration
  The heavy duty Emperor Rite-Size Filter Cartridge floss screens out dirt and debris. Patented ribbed back maximum water to carbon contact.
• Stage 2: Chemical Filtration
  Inside the cartridge, Black Diamond Premium Activated Carbon removes odors, discoloration and impurities.
• Stage 3: Biological Filtration
  Internal sponge optimizes colonization of beneficial aerobic bacteria and removes ammonia and nitrites.
• Stage 4: Biological Filtration
  The patented Bio-Wheel eliminates toxic ammonia and nitrite on contact. The Bio-Wheel is designed to grow the beneficial bacteria needed for filtration.
