Perfect for our dwarf hamster

Recently we took in a dwarf hamster and found that when the hamster would climb into his wheel, he would fall out of the side as soon as it started to move. We tried adjusting the wheel and even switched to an exercise saucer but unfortunately the hamster was falling off the saucer as well. We had him checked over and thankfully he didn’t have any sort of medical issue causing this to happen. However, he was getting bored and constantly biting the bars of the cage.
We ordered the snap on wheel and attached it to the side of the cage with the opening at the bottom. Within seconds he went into the wheel and he actually started to run. He’s in it every night with no problem and has finally stopped chewing on the bars of the cage.

These wheels are perfect to fit on the end of each of my Bins in my mouse Breeder rack. They keep my mice happy and are fairly easy to clean. You just carefully squeeze and push the center of the wheel and it will pull apart. No issues and work great! I love the tray below the wheel that catches the pee and poop when they run. Thank you!

- Slightly tricky to take apart yo clean but not impossible.

My gerbil loves this. If he's not running on it then he's quite often just sitting there on it. The best thing by far I've seen for a gerbil!

- I've gone through a few of these because they have all wore out and broke where the wheel attaches at the hole.
