It has anti-skid foot pads to prevent skidding and fleece insulation keeps paws warm. The self-adhering Velcro straps makes it easy to stay affixed to dog's paws. We bought these for our yorkie so he could go snowshoeing with us this winter. They are the right size. They twist around on his feet when he walks even though the velcro is as tight as it goes. Am very disappointed in them.Good

They really did work and look cute on my dog. She didn't even care that they were on her feet. I would rate this a five star item for dogs!Pros:

Was looking forward so much to using these booties on my Jack Russell Terrrier and no matter what I tried he just shook them off. Think it would help if it had a lining as the velcro used was at the very end of the attached strip and don't think it was secure enough. Sad it didn't work as we love walking in 15° weather.all weather boots

Not small enough for a four LB dog and the ties-on strap are too large it seems. They do not fit tight enough to the legs.I would recommend this item to a friend.
