The cartridge has an extra-thick duo-density pad that has expanded capacity for waste removal. This thick pad allows it to remove solid waste and particles as small as 1micron without difficulty. Ideal for polishing water after maintenance. Safe for fresh and saltwater use. The unit is exclusively designed to fit AquaClear Powerhead models 10, 20, 30, 50 and 70.
